Case studies

Eight projects that shaped how I work.

A selection of work across health, fintech, mobility, e-commerce, and logistics. Each one teaches the same lesson differently: the hard part is rarely shipping. It's choosing the right problem to solve.

08Healthtrackr

Founded Healthtrackr as a founder validation venture to determine whether a regulated at-home blood testing service could become a scalable business in Germany before committing significant capital. Rather than validating through prototypes alone, I built a fully functioning end-to-end service with real laboratories, logistics, medical kits, and customer testing.

Impact

End-to-end
Real service, not prototype
Top lab
German diagnostic partner
Real users
Supervised live tests

Outcome

Opportunity validated. Chose not to scale.

About Healthtrackr

Healthtrackr was a founder-led validation venture created to test whether an at-home diagnostic service could become a commercially viable healthcare business in Germany. The objective was not simply to launch a product, but to validate the commercial, operational, regulatory, and customer assumptions before deciding whether the opportunity deserved long-term investment.

Challenge

Determine whether a regulated at-home blood testing business could become commercially viable before committing the significant capital, regulatory investment, and operational complexity required to scale nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Founder & product
  • Lab & regulatory partnerships
  • Hardware sourcing & testing

Key outcomes

  1. 01

Built a fully functioning end-to-end diagnostic service using real laboratories, logistics partners, and medical test kits.

  2. 02

Validated operational, customer, and regulatory assumptions through supervised testing with real users and real laboratory analysis.

  3. 03

Made the deliberate decision not to launch after evidence showed the opportunity did not justify the required long-term investment.
